Trash and Recycling pick up

There will be no second day Friday trash pick up beginning Tuesday June 28, 2022.

Yard Waste will be picked up on Saturday June 25 instead of Wednesday June 22 due to staffing issues. Please just assume if yard waster is not picked up on Wednesday, it will be picked up on Saturday.

YARD WASTE:  Yard Waste will be collected on Wednesdays. Grass clippings and leaves must be set out for pickup in bio-degradable paper bags or in a trash container clearly marked “yard waste” on both sides.  Tree limbs and brush must be tied in bundles no longer than 4 feet in length and 6 inches in diameter.  Bundles or items that are bagged cannot exceed 50 pounds.  Yard waste does not include stumps, rocks, dirt, sod, gravel, mulch, whole trees, or clean-up from storm damage.  Collection of these items may be provided for an additional charge.

Single Family Homes:

On July 1, 2020 Patriot Disposal will begin using an automatic side loader for pickup at the single family homes. All trash and recycling must be inside their toters. All toters should be placed at the curb, unobstructed, with the handle facing the house.Unobstructed means the toter must be 3 feet away from all other toters, mailboxes, and cars.

Patriot Disposal Services is our current trash and recycling contractor.

Trash pick up is on to be Tuesdays and Fridays. Recycling is picked up on Wednesdays.

Thank you for your patience throughout this process. If you have any questions concerning this notice, please contact us at (703) 257-7100 or by email at customerservice@patriotdisposalservices.com.

All trash must be in trash cans or bins in order to be picked up.  Loose bags will not be picked up.

Glass will no longer be picked up after November 11, 2019.

Recycling that contains glass will be considered contaminated and will not be picked up.
